About Us
We are a group philologists, meaning someone deeply engaged in the study of languages and their role in shaping human experience. Our work explores how language both reflects and structures the ways ancient societies understood the world. Geographically and intellectually, we focus on two major centers of ancient cultural production: Ancient Greece and Mesopotamia.
More recently, our research explores how Artificial Intelligence can help us better understand ancient cultures and their languages. We are especially interested in how computational models can simulate historical perspectives, reveal linguistic patterns, and open new interpretive pathways into the ancient world.
